Seasonal finishes

I am thrilled that I could finish all the seasonal fall pieces I was working on. I normally give away what I make, but I kept these small items and hung them in my house. I can't believe how much they perk me up and my surroundings. I have always resisted home decor stuff, probably because my mother used plastic and phony flowers everywhere at all seasons. I always try to go for the clean, uncluttered look (except for the studio). These bits of color throughout the house make me smile.

Claimed before FMQ finished

And a couple of blocks that I want to add some more to, but not right now based on free pattern, Rising Star. I have some more different fabrics to cut for maybe 6 more stars.

I like the skinny wallhanging with the pumpkins. They are all really nice and orange is a bright touch for dreary days. It is definitely fall weather here.
61 and cloudy.

Love the star blocks, Linda, and I really, really love the quilt the cat claimed. (Maybe I can wrestle him/her for it) The colors are so beautiful. There is a very warm feeling about it. We have been having cooler nights and the days have been in the 70's and 80's. Very nice.

Like Wanda, I am a fan of the skinny pumpkin wallhanging. We use our seasonal decorations to freshen up our space (and to deeper clean that space each time the decor changes). If all those pandemic stay at home days taught us anything, changing out our surroundings was a big result.

Because of my mother's decorating style, I opted to have real art on my walls. Some is mine and some are other artists' work. I do have at least 5 quilts on the walls.
I don't tend to do seasonal things, but those look very nice.
