The Organized Chaos kaleidoscope quilt is all sewn up into six sections just waiting for the other seams to sewn. It is very slow because of all the pinning matching up points. I am not normally a pinner, but I am forced with this. No matter how careful I cut, sewed, trimmed, etc, I could not get every point to line up but close. I need to not obsess on it, I did the best I could. I need about an uninterrupted hour and half to get this all sewn. All then, I am not sure what to do about a border. I just love all the colors.

Close is good enough on the kaleidoscope blocks. It is very hard to get every point perfect. I have made several of them and it is a challenge. It won't be easy choosing a border for it but I could see it with a wide border 6-8". I put a narrower border on one of mine because I didn't have very much of the perfect fabric. I always wished I had looked for another fabric so it could have been wider.
I second Wanda on the subject of matching points, tricky! You must be thrilled with this top, it's beautiful.
Fabulous!!
I'm not sure what size it is or what u need it to be but does it really need a border? I like it as is. If you need it bigger, red was the first color that popped for me so either red or a contrasting color might work.
Wow!!!! Ditto what Wanda said.....with this much activity in the quilt who cares:) It is so fabulous! A wider border will really give it importance....or a narrow inner and wider outer even. Color...what ever you select will make that color pop in the overall design. Pick your favorite.
I absolutely love this quilt!
