When I look at the fall leaves and see the great variety of shades and colors, I know why I am a scrap quilter- I just don't want to see just one single shade or hue. If only I could make my quilts sparkle as wonderfully as these trees.

You have some beautiful colors there. I didn't want to pull out my zinnias either but this morning they are toppled over under heavy snow and freezing rain. Our first hard freeze is on Friday.
We will have freezing temps overnight this weekend so that will be the end of our giant lime green coleus plants. I'll miss them! Thanks for sharing your colors - and I agree about the scrappy thoughts (lots of shades of one color is much more interesting than just one).

We had snow Oct 30-31. On Nov 1st, all the leaves were on top of the snow.
