Figured it out!

      Due to my brain freeze in making the bargello from the Watercolor blossoms jelly roll, I had made a plan on graph paper, measured all the strips twice and cut them. I checked each strip to the graph paper before I sewed any together. Once the second half was done, the two pieces did behave and make a proper design.

It turned out very pretty! I did a bargello table runner once and that was enough for me!

I have never attempted a bargello. I don't make my Trip Around the World quilts from strips. I do pieces. I can't imagine the precision it took to get these to all line up just so. Kudos to you, too, because I wouldn't have seen a mistake if you hadn't pointed it out. You have a beautiful quilt top now. :-)

Your bargello is just stunning Linda! Feels like the sea and sand are just by your side, the effect looks, to me, like waves slowly moving over the shore.
