I just love striped bindings. Hard to find stripes, buy them when I see them. |

Out for delivery
Once again, I got a call for a comfortquilt that had to go out of town with someone who was flying out Labor Day. I have a lot of tops to choose from, but not quilted. I pushed myself to quilt on the longarm, get the bag put together, the card, the book and the pocket quilts. After washing and sewing the label on, I delivered it to the person who will ferry it along. I don't know where it is going, but it is to a woman who does not have a very good cancer diagnosis. I hope the exploding squares and quilting take her mind off it for a bit and let her gather her thoughts.

What a beautiful quilt!! Such a nice mix of fabrics and colors! It is sure to bring comfort and provide some distraction from such difficulties. What a nice assurance that people care, even people who don’t know you. Thank you for being so active in this ministry to others. Blessings to you and yours.
Really lovely -- and I agree about striped bindings!
I'm sure it will be appreciated. Nice quilt.
It will bring comfort and warmth, and be a blessing to the recipient. I agree with you about the striped binding - love them! Also plaids cut diagonally.
You’re lucky to have the longarm so you could finish up this pretty last minute. I also love striped bindings and this one is perfect. Sending happy thoughts to the recipient.
Such a great pattern for this quilt type....and of course the strip binding is perfect. Good job....the effort shows.
A beautiful mix of colorful fabrics. Blessings to you and the recipient.
What a heartwarming cuddly quilt. I'm sure it will make the recipient feel better and thought of.
