Last year, I did the tutorial for the Maybe quilt on Sarah's blog. I have made a lot of these as comfort quilts. This one is finished and all in the bag for delivery tomorrow to a young woman who works in my husband's department who is battling breast cancer. It is washed and all plumped up. Again, the lovely Miss J holds the edge down to keep it from furling.
Detail- Nora's rose from Lori Kennedy
The back's fabric is only pieced on the top edge here- the rest is the fabric pattern. Love the striped binding.

I like this one...such pretty use of color. Thank you for sharing.
There are days I need Miss J here to help hold down my quilts too -- pesky breezes. Lovely finish!! (need to choose one here and deliver it to my neighbor who was just diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer)

This will be such a great comfort for her!
Love this one, simple lines and very colourful - I'm sure it will be a very welcome gift.
