Spring cleaning Giveaways

I am linking up with Vicki Welsh's Giveaway week. I am forcing myself to move out what I am not going to work with even though it interests me. I need to narrow my focus so I can be better at fewer things. The way the Giveaways will work is leave me a comment as to what work you like of mine and which giveaway you would like to be considered for. On Friday morning, I will take the number of people who asked for which item, assign a number in the order received and have my grandkids draw the number and notify you. I will mail it to you, so make sure you are not a no email responder or it will go to the next number draw
Number one, I LOVE hand dyed fabric. I love to pet it and cut it up and sew it. However, although I have taken classes, I do not want to make it. I will buy from people like Vicki and quilt show vendors. I have a kit of dyes, unopened, that you can comment what work of mine you like and that you would like the dye kit.
Next, I have a small bin of 1 1/2" strips. I cut all my smaller than fat quarter pieces into strips or squares. Bonnie Hunter's system uses 1 1/2" as well as 2 1/2". However, I find I am not going to use the 1 1/2" size. So, if you would like an envelope of unwashed 1 1/2" cotton strips, please leave a comment as to what work you like of mine and that you would like the strips.

Ok, maybe I can find some other things, but for now, here we go!

I love your blue improv! And those bright and cheery HST's!

My favorite thing, at the moment, is dying and spinning fiber into yarns and those dyes would be perfect fodder for my color obsession.

Hi Linda! I can always use some 1-1/2 inch strips! I actually found you when I was looking for crumb quilts, so I'm going to say that I like the Attic Windows crumbs quite a bit! Thanks for the giveaway and have a great day!

All your work is gorgeous Linda! It was hard to pick a favorite, but I'm going with Tulip Garden. What a gorgeous piece of art. I love to dye fabric, so I could definitely use the dye kit. Thanks for this generous giveaway and for all the eye candy!

I love the Tulip Garden. The dye kit would go to a friend who dies her fabric for scarves for all of us as presents each year. I know she would love it. I love all of your work.

All of your work is lovely. I really like the tangle dress. I love your quilts too. I've been eyeing a dye kit for a while, I have some Jacobs wool I'd like to dye so the dye kit would be great.

I love your denim quilt with the adorable bright borders. (I have a lot of jeans that don't fit....this could be what I do with them.)

I want the dye kit, I do, yes, I DO! I have been wanting to try a Procion dye for a while now.. I love Vicki's hand dyed fabrics also.

I love your "kid fabric" quilt. I make I SPY quilts all the time for local fundraisers.
I would love to try the hand dying. I have tried before with natural products. What fun. I would also love your scraps. I make little log cabin quilt pin cushions, for gifts and donations too. Thanks. Kathy

i've never dyed fabric but it sounds interesting! This is my first time to your blog. I always love other people's scraps and always find a use for them in my quilts.

I love the little charm square quilt you're making out of kid fabrics. :) I like scrappy stuff like that. I would love to get your strips! sarah@forrussia.org

I love your blue improv quilt and your denim quilt. Great colors. I especially love to see that you are working on a beautiful Singer 66 treadle. I have one that I use a lot of the time, as well. I'd love to win the dye kit, because although there is great temptation to buy hand-dyes by others, I still have a secret ambition to dye my own. I love Jacquard products, but these particular materials are ones I haven't tried yet.

Found via Vicki's page (love her fabric!) and would love to have your scrappy strips (I'm way too lazy to dye my own!).
