We took the grandkids there and soon all of us were smiling. The butterflies landed on us, buzzed us and generally lifted our heads up. I tried to photo groups flying around, but the photos would blur with motion.
I really want to make a grand butterfly quilt to capture the feeling of wonder.

And just as we were leaving, one came and said goodbye to Jolene. |

I don't think I've ever seen a pink butterfly!!
Delightful!
Beautiful photos! Thanks!
With your skills, I'm guessing your quilt will exude that warmth as well as the colors and wonders of the butterflies. Go for it !!!
I adore butterflies and what a superb collection you've shown in these photographs, I especially love the beautiful colour in your last photo with your grand-daughter.
Magical! Precious memories to capture.
What an enchanting day you had! Such a treasure to experience butterflies with your grandchildren and husband. It's so hard to be still and allow them to find us in their own time when we are excited. Something about them seems to draw our attention in, though, and slow our heart beat. I think they're like watching the ocean. Thank you for the photo show of spring to come.
How cool!
