You've done a great job with your organising, I have run out of room for my fabric a little so some have migrated elsewhere in the house!Mystic Quilterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13233427034920359604noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7818063273966025976.post-2225334792903839032019-01-16T11:17:09.185-08:002019-01-16T11:17:09.185-08:00I need all your wire baskets or small plastic tubs...I need all your wire baskets or small plastic tubs to store my scraps by color. Girl, you got fabric! Lots of it. Your shelves look good and they should give you a better view of things. I have whittled down my strips to just one box now. Lots of easy sewing like log cabin blocks, rail fence blocks, and 4 patches. It takes a while to reduce the bulk of it. You are going good.Debbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08468608812169214999noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7818063273966025976.post-53724835337231756792019-01-14T15:11:05.516-08:002019-01-14T15:11:05.516-08:00I usually attack my scrap piles by pressing, then ...I usually attack my scrap piles by pressing, then die cutting some shapes from them and putting the remainder scraps in nice neat stacks. This whittles down the size of the scraps and builds up your inventory of cut pieces so you can get into a project quicker. I use triangles in lots of projects so that is one of my go-to shapes to cut with my Studio die cutter. When you need smaller scraps you have those nice neat piles of scraps already pressed and ready to play with.Exuberantcolor/Wanda S Hansonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00064308660138307797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7818063273966025976.post-58740340740211908442019-01-14T14:07:16.379-08:002019-01-14T14:07:16.379-08:00Maybe instead of sorting all those awkward scraps,...Maybe instead of sorting all those awkward scraps, you could use them to make liberated log cabin blocks (or some other liberated block) for your comfort quilt projects -- that way they would be put to good use and you wouldn't have to store them. Just a thought. Congrats on the organizing progress!!!!!Quiltdivajuliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15593385265961892847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7818063273966025976.post-63059051656544222742019-01-14T13:06:55.201-08:002019-01-14T13:06:55.201-08:00I feel your pain - LOL - ;)) I don't care how...I feel your pain - LOL - ;)) I don't care how I try to organize my stash - it doesn't take long for it to get out of control - ;))A Left-Handed Quilterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01145550105234839991noreply@blogger.com
