When a friend was in hospice the AC kept it so chilly - there was a heated blanket thing right across the hall from her and I was getting her a heated blanket every hour.....I could have used one myself! I wasn't aware of comfort quilts at the time, but one would have been a good addition.

ceciAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7818063273966025976.post-39012833584610385782022-06-27T16:39:06.328-07:002022-06-27T16:39:06.328-07:00That was lucky to find the extra pieces to make it...That was lucky to find the extra pieces to make it a good size quilt.
Nice colour, reminds me of the sea.Mystic Quilterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13233427034920359604noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7818063273966025976.post-82062488376641443132022-06-27T14:09:52.023-07:002022-06-27T14:09:52.023-07:00That is so pretty! That is so pretty!Vicki Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06929340703066037054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7818063273966025976.post-9799197588334286462022-06-27T09:07:30.295-07:002022-06-27T09:07:30.295-07:00I love that block. I know it was probably named during the Depression era or something like that but anyway I love it because it makes a secondary pattern.

I try to aim for 60 x 80 for comfort quilts for adults and 40 x 60 for kids. If I want the quilt up to my neck I can't have the quilt wrapped under my feet. I like to have a few shorter quilts available too. The person I co-ordinate with can usually tell me the size that will work best.Exuberantcolor/Wanda S Hansonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00064308660138307797noreply@blogger.com
