Also, I sewed all the OBW octagons (48). When I got home I moved them around on the design wall over 30 times and 3 days until I settled on one arrangement. I was trying to go from lightest to darkest instead of just matching flowers. Now, I am cutting the triangles from the squares for the corners and placing them. Next post, I will show progress on that. Oh, I love the octagons.

You got an amazing lot of stuff done! Your Disappearing hourglass blocks are beautiful....if you can handle it go big on these:) Yes, you got a good arrangement on the OBW....looks great too.
ReplyDeleteI would go for two comfort quilts with borders rather than one big quilt. And those OBW blocks are beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteWow! You've been busy!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your final placement of the octagon blocks. It is going to be a striking quilt.
ReplyDeleteLove the Kaffe fabrics, obviously! Your OBW I think is a stunner Linda, I really love it to bits, the colour, the movement in all those different blocks. You picked a winner there girl with that fabric!
