Big florals

In the spring, I have some pretty big blooms in the yard. The tree peonies are monstrous and the red poppies are attention seekers. Unfortunately, neither of them last long. Last year, the heat and drought did them in and this year the wet weather sogged them out. I wish I could find fabric like this or make a quilt, but sadly, I hate fusibles.

LOVE your peonies - one of my fav flowers. Mine haven't opened yet but they actually are looking like this might be a banner year despite the rain.

Beautiful. I love to bring in a few peonies and float them in a shallow bowl. Wonderful scent. Those poppies are spectacular!

Beautiful blooms! You can use the colors in the peonies in a pieced quilt and it would be gorgeous. Many shades of rose color, many shades of green.

Glorious flowers -- I agree with Wanda. Go with the colors but not the literal floral shape.
